Is "LIVE:Regis and Kelly" pre-taped, because the epi with KAthie Lee had clips shown the day before that matched the actual show. See, KAthie Lee was wearing the same dress, etc, so I know it was the same as the clips shown....this bugs me cuz I thought the show is live???

If you live on the east coast you get the show live. They do from time to time have taped segments on the show. It usually says on the bottom of the screen if it was prerecorded.

The segment you saw was taped and actually Regis and Kelly mentioned that fact a couple of days before. Most of their shows are taped live but they do pre-tape, especially for the Friday show. They are up front about it, so if you prefer not to watch the taped shows, you will be able to tell with one clue....that is, Regis always says what the weather is like outside that particular day, and they show a shot of the outside...if you do not see that part, and it is right after they sit down, you know you are into a 'taped show"...Hope you don't give up on them though, they are the best of the best we have today....sincere, honest and entertaining....
