Why do so many people want to live in South Florida?

i have been living here all my life and i hate it.

i mean its ok but i rather live somewhere where it gets all the different seasons.

i love the cold, and im usually good in both hot and cold but why would someone want to live here???? i can understand central and north florida becuase of all the springs, and rivers.

thats why im going to go to college in nc or tenn. they are so much better places in my mind. sure the everglades and the untouched part of florida is breathtaking but there are so many foreigners and only spanish speaking people here.

why would someone like to live here?? my mom grew up in the mountainous parts of Guatemala and Venezuela but she says she will never move from south florida. tell me, why would you want to live there?

Because they like hurricanes, 101F dewpoints, 100F heat and direct sun anlges.
