Yeah live is awesome- rent movies, download a few shows, ultimate updates and easy baby steps. And a great circle enjoyment options for you and your buddies.
Now heres ps3 whether you like it or not-
Psn store doesnt have a fourth of what xbox live has. only a few demos and trailers. Big downloads for games- new cars and weapons, maps same as live though. Tahts it, srry xbox fans but for what i see- you lose the online war- because.....
1. Ps3 also lets you browse and use the real internet
2. if you do it right you can download free stuff like me.
3. Bigger buddie circle- even though lots of pple dont realize- the internet is bigger than live for chat and invites. There are certain downloads by other companies that lt you do ultimate stuff like live- for free.
4. Believe or not ps3 online access is stronger than live- live is one whole fast paced server- ps3 is like computer- multi based- means more pple with diff connections can connect with the ps3.

Why do people go back and forth with this? Isn't the whole point of a having a gaming system online is to play with or against other players? Both systems do that. They both give game demos and trailers. Those are TRULEY the only things needed. Everything else is just extra features that really don't need to be added. And I love that fact that the online service of Sony is free.

Live is much better, it's hardly laggy whatsoever, which I cannot say for the PS3 and the new PSHome, can be thrown out, 'Cause microsoft is doing the same thing, and it's much easier to use and track.

there web access is a lot like web tv which went out of business because it was so crappy. all I know is there live service when you can connect to your friends, find out what your friends are doing ask them to join you or join them at anytime. Have a private chat while playing games, send message to them at any time is awesome. plus the other millions of other service feature that the 360 provides

I played my 360 and my friends ps3 online and its like night and day difference.
live for me, until ps3 shows a bigger improvement in standards and features.
