.I live in a town of about 3,000 people... we have all the major conveniences... but we do not have taxies, big public busses... or shopping malls (we have smaller specialty stores or wall-mart) We live in a small community, that is not very diverse either; ethnically or culturally... I love the area, it is what I know as home... but I always wonder what it would be like to live in a large metropolitan area one that is rich in culture and busy all the time... here, even Taco Bell Closes at 11pm

completely rural area we only got one store and it serves as a gas station, grocery store, movie store, hardware and feed store it closes at 9, we have no post office so we are considered a community not a town ....cows i think outnumber us 10 to 1 and there's probably 400 people here

Big. Over a million people. I think by land area, Jacksonville is also the biggest city in the U.S. Something like 750 square miles.

Small town of about 22,000....it's small for the area as it's in between to major cities that are about 60,000 each. We have taxis (if you're willing to wait 45 min. as you need to call for one you can't just flag one down), but no buses. We had buses growing up and then they went to taxis. Thankfully, there's no meters....you pay one flat rate within city limits. We don't have a mall (there's an outlet mall 7 miles away), and have a Wal-Mart Supercenter, Shopko, and many restaurants, bars, and churches.....there's a bar or a church on every corner of this dang town.

Big city, I love it and hate it at the same time. There's a lot of diversity and I like the art museums and the strange little vintage stores and quaint coffee places and that there is a 24-hour grocer 5 minutes walk away but I hate the noise, it drives me nuts. Ambulances, gunshots sometimes, construction, this city never sleeps. And I don't either!
