PLEASE HELP!!! xbox live for 360 helppp!!!?

My computor is in the living room and my xbox 360 is in my room with my big tv, stereo system etc. And i want to be able to play xbox live on my 360 without moving it to the living room. I bought the longest ethernet cable i could find (and it came with 2) but it wasnt long enough. Is there any way i can connect the two cables? or is there any way to play from my room at all???? I've considered the wireless adaptor but its really expensive and i dont even know what you need to use it. PLEASE HELP!!!

youd be best off if you bought a longer ethernet cable.

i sprung for the $99.00 wifi adapter so that i could play online in my bedroom upstairs, but for the most part, i was unable to muster enough bandwidth to connect to any game servers (downloads were possible but slow), so i ran out and bought a hundred feet od ehternet and strung it through the walls and have no problem at all anymore.

connecting the 2 cables is possible if you can find a coupler, or if you are savvy enough you could splice the two and use electric tape to hold them together, but your safest and most efficient bet would be to buy a longer peice of ethernet.

Yes, if you can find one, you can have something that looks like this

[cable in]-[cable out] it connects both, like a phone extention. If you don't want to do that, you can go and buy a wireless game adaptor [for around 80 dollars] and if you have wireless internet, you just sick it in the back.

Try going to an electronics store like Radio Shack. My friends and I were able to find a big spool of ethernet cable. If you can find that, it should be plenty long enough.

yeah set up a wireless network in ur house and get a wireless adapter for the 360 but thats gona cost like $250

well first of all u need a wireless router....this will enable a wireless connection....linksys is a good brand that range from $20-$149.....then u have to go to best buy and buy the special wireless adapter which are about $100...or there r cords u can buy to reach far rooms....we have one that reaches over 50 feet.....so u still need a router...but it doesnt need to be wireless meaning it is most likely cheaper....so u choose

U would need a wireless router or modem to get a wireless connection, or buy a Ethernet connector at any electronic store like Best Buy
