I was just wondering which states have more to offer. I know I would like to one day live on the coast. I want to be a firefighter, which state pays the best, what is the cost of living, which Section of that state is the nicest to live in, and which state or city in your opinion boasts the most fun night and day. Also on a firefighters salary, could I live comfortably, in that state.
Which is a better state to live in Florida or California. Or which is the best coastal state to live in???
Move to California. Florida gets too hot and humid in the summer and you have to worry about all the hurricanes. I live in San Jose, California and I would have to say you should live either there or San Diego, don't move to L.A. it's way too big and polluted. If you wanna find out the stats on California, go to wikipedia and type California. Oh and by the way, California's unions are among the best in the country so if you're looking for a good firefighting UNION job forget Texas or any of those Southern states and go with a state where there's sensible labor laws to protect your rights as a worker. You definitely want to live in a PRO LABOR, PRO UNION state.

Oregon!
Which is a better state to live in Florida or California. Or which is the best coastal state to live in???
California. They have bad natural disasters, but as a firefighter, you would get a lot of work. Plus, the people in Florida are creating more and more crazy laws over stupid stuff. You could easily become a target, no matter whether or not you did anything. Believe me, I know.
Which is a better state to live in Florida or California. Or which is the best coastal state to live in???
California! your more likely not to be in threatening weather than any other state.
Which is a better state to live in Florida or California. Or which is the best coastal state to live in???
There is no contest. Texas should be your state of choice. Coastal? Sure it is. The Gulf of Mexico comprises a good deal of the Texas boarders. It also provides convienient access to the rest of the country with it's centralized location. The price of real estate is half that of California. Your children, if youhave or will have children, will grow up in an area of the country that still maintains a sense of human values and these values will be passed on to your children. California is the most Communist place in the free world.
You would need to visit Texas to determine a city of preference. I would say, Corpus Christi or Galveston areas for the coast. Austin or San Antonio if you just want some wonderful cites to choose from. Austin is the State capital and also a college town which make it very young at heart. Plenty of day or night activities in any good size Texas city.
And Texas doesn't have a state income tax and they still pay their bills.
