..%26amp; work in india,separated from my wife for last 5 years. I have a daughter whom i love %26amp; see her every week,old retired parents whom i see once a week %26amp; a sick sister with an abusive husband %26amp; a bright child whom i see once a month. I talk to all of them on phone daily. Meanwhile i have a girlfriend abroad for last 2 years %26amp; we both love each other. She left her highly paid job there in order to be with me %26amp; we were living together in india. However, she could not get adjusted to indian weather, lack of infrastructure %26amp; bad behavior of people toward white foreigner. So she went back. She again returned to give one more shot at living in india or rather she came back 4-5 times but was never very happy.I also went to her country 3-4 times %26amp; though i like that country %26amp; feel happy to live there, but the guilt of leaving behind my people who need me forces me back here. Now she is there without a job and lonely %26amp; i am here. We both speak on phone but this is no life or is it the only way

You have to decide to...

1. Be with your family and forget about your girlfriend.

2. Be with your girlfriend and keep in contact with your family by mail, email, telephone, etc. (like most other people do).

YOU HAVE TO MAKE A CHOICE!!..

Wow...that's a dilemma you poor man..I honestly don't know how you can sort that out.I hope it works out for you both eventually.

you are just ONE person leaving the country, doesn't mean you're letting your country down just because you went to go see her in her country, a lot of times its hard for some Americans to adapt to other countries. if you two love each other enough, then keep trying, keep fighting.

you asked why i live my life? right now I'm in college hoping to get a good degree and live my life as fair and easy as possible, meet new people along the way hopefully find someone to love and share my life with.
