well i just got a 360 and im trying to join xbox live and i press join xbox live and it tells me to put in my gamertag and i do so but then it tells me to put in a windows live id email address and i do but when i press sign in it says that there is a problem with the credentials i am using what does that mean??? how can i fix this??

Well, have you bought XBox Live with the X360?
You have to buy the adapter thingie along with the XBox Gold Membership Disc to be able to connect up to XBox Live.
If you have etc etc, then perhaps it means something you typed in is wrong.
Try it again or make a new Windows Live Account.

If it says the credentials are wrong then the password to the email is wrong or you typed something in wrong.
If thats not the case then it is your email. A windows live id is a hotmail account if you don't have one then choose the option you don't have one so you dont have to make a new email.
