i live in piscataway, and it's really peaceful depending on which neighbothood you live in. there are many places to shop close by, but the only problem i think with piscataway is the schools. the elementary, middle public schools are good, but the high school is a disaster. Report It

Winchester is quite nice. very "country" if you know what I mean. lots of nice schools around there, not a big city at all. but still has the amenities like malls and such around there. might wanna check out Strasburg, VA too. it's only 15 minutes away from Winchester.

I will answer this question with another question. I wouldn't want to live in Piscataway New Jersey however. What it boils down to is whether you want to be warm or cold?. Do you like to ski or swim? I know that Massachuettes allows gay marriages and there are alot of minorities that live in Virginia.. ....the state of CT is very pretty with its majestic type homes and known for good seafood... I really don't know anything about the other states...Good luck

Speaking for Worcester (pronounced "woo-ster"), we're a decent sized city for being the 2nd largest one in Mass. Good schools, train ride away from Boston.

Storrs is not very large, from what I gather, but you're not far from Hartford. UConn is a really good school, though.

Chapel Hill, NC is a great town to live in. The University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill is an outstanding college of high performance in academics,sports, and medical studies with a highly recommended hospital establishment.

I wouldn't recommend London. Alot of Indian people live around Birmingham / Bradford / the Midlands, as well as the rest of the country.

You'd be doing well to come to the UK and walk into a job paying 3000GBP/month. More likely 1000-1500 GBP

You should look for a recruiter in your field based in London. By the way, there are no warm weather places in the UK. Even in summer, their weather tends to be MUCH cooler than you will find in most of Asia.

I agree with IanQ on the weather thing - we've had some heat waves in the past few years but by no means is this regular and yeah... it's pretty cold too. It maybe quite difficult to find jobs paying 鎷?000 per month unless you're willing to do some contracting. There are a variety of management jobs (try jobserve.com and cwjobs.co.uk).

In addition to rent; there are additional fees as well which can add an additional 鎷?00 + to your monthly living expenses.

The areas that you will find a place to live for 鎷?00 may not be the areas you'd like to live.

My EX girlfriend and I ended about a month ago.. we were together for 5 years.. and man... shes already in another relationship.. I love the **** out of her man.. i think that you should live alittle without regrets. save money and when you think you have the money and the strength to move, try not to look back. observe the world. see whats out there. like the quote "live life to the fullest." be more adventurous and see what the world has to offer and take off from there. if you feel like there is something in life that is worth your time, then take it.

Some people i have known in my life have worried about saving for the future,pensions etc.

Invested alot of money for later years.

Only to find they dont live that long to enjoy it!

The trick is to find a balance that suits you. You need to figure out what you hope to have when you retire, for example do you think you will own your own home or rent, do you want a couple of holidays a year or do you want to stay at home, do you want to be able to spoil kids, grand kids etc etc, I for one plan to own my home outright, I want to be able to give my kids a helping hand when they need it so after all my bills are paid I use half of my spare cash for fun and half for savings

Saving for the future is a wonderful idea. Go ahead and try it. see what happens everytime you get a nice little pile of money together. Have to have an operation, have to buy a new car something will always stand in the way of a nest egg. your future doesnt exist until you get there. Some day you will be dead and your life will be over. Happy memories are way more valuable then any monetary unit.

Hello All, Everytime I hear about South Africa by people who went there or who live there I only hear about their violent crimes and raping horrible stories. Is it possible to live there without being attacked by criminal. How the police work there and they don't appear to be efficient to deter these massive crime. If some people do live there is peace please share your experience. I guess people must live normal lives there ? How do they manage to not be mugged of rapes . Please help as I have just been relocated there for my job and I am scared to go there with my family.

It depends were you stay.

I disagree with one of above answerers, Gauteng IS a war zone as far as crime is concerned. I have lived in Pretoria Gauteng for 37 years, and in the last four years crime has escalated to such an extend that I can almost honestly tell you that I know of no one in my business, family and friends living here who has not been affected by crime. Not all violent crime though, but it includes my mother being shot in her back for a notebook computer, armed robbery at my practice, and two hijackings. My own home was also ransacked while we were sleeping.

These type of stats are much less in other parts of South Africa, for instance Cape Town, Durban, Bloenfontein.

However, new leadership and structures is on the way, and with that comes new hope. I truly hope that the light at the end of the tunnel is not an approaching train. I for one believe, that something will be done, and that we have experienced the worst, and that better days are on their way.

This "hope" and my faith in the average South African are the reasons I will stay, and keep on promoting South Africa.

To answer your question, if you are aware of the situation and diligent in your preventions, you will find SA to be an Awesome Experience.

As someone who has grown up and currently living in S.A., I'd say yes, crime is very high here, but nothing to be paranoid about. I mean, like anywhere else in the world, and I've traveled quite extensively, you have to be careful of where you go and always be aware of your surroundings.

The media portrays this country as being a war zone for crime, but it's not actually. I'd say just always be careful of dodgy characters, as like in any other country, and it should be fine.
